Salt-Chlorine Generator Systems

Advance your swimming pool experience like never before!

Have you considered converting your pool over to a salt pool? If you have, now is a great time! Experience true luxury and an entirely new swimming experience when converting your pool to a salt pool. The process is easy - our experienced technicians use high quality products to switch your existing chlorinated pool over within the matter of days.  Keep reading below to learn about salt pools and their many benefits.

What is a salt pool?

One of the biggest misconceptions about a salt pool is that chlorine is eliminated from your pool all together. This is actually not the case. Although liquid chlorine or chlorine tablets are no longer used, the salt undergoes a process to create chlorine naturally as your pool needs it. We simply add salt to the water supply which then circulates through out the water system and travels through the salt-chlorine generator where it undergoes a process known as electrolysis, which then converts the salty water into chlorine. This allows for your pool to have a heavily reduced chlorine level than a traditional pool system while still providing the same sanitation results, as well as much less maintenance and cost to having to regulate your chlorine levels throughout the season.

Benefits of converting to a salt pool:

  • You will save money on chemicals. You will no longer have to spend money on chlorine each season. Salt water pool systems produce chlorine naturally, so you don’t need to add tablets or shock the pool. You also don't need to worry about risks with handling and storing harsh chemicals .
  • You save time with maintenance. Chlorine levels in traditional pools have the tendency to spike throughout the summer, requiring adjustments to be made to balance out the pH levels. And while the chemical levels in your salt pool will still have to be checked consistently, they tend to remain more regulated requiring less adjustments and alterations.
  • Less chemicals = less irritation. Eliminating the hard chemicals from your pool reaps many benefits to your personal well-being.  Chlorine tends to leave a harsh smell on your body and clothing and can greatly irritate your eyes and skin. Salt water is much gentler on your hair, skin, eyes and clothing. Although it will not get rid of the chlorine smell all together, you will find that you barely even smell it at all. Salt pools are also better for those who have asthma or allergies.
  • Experience serenity.  A salt water pool just feels "softer" and more luxurious to swim in. Your friends and family will thank you for making the switch when they can truly enjoy their swimming experiences this summer!
